Eric Morace was born the youngest of four children and grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey. His dreams of becoming an actor led him to New York University'sTisch School of the Arts, where he received a BFA in Drama. Since graduating from college, Eric has appeared in many television episodics ranging from The Sopranos to all the various Law and Order series. The most notable of these is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, where he has reoccured several times as the ESU Lt.
Eric's first professional acting credit came from his very first audition when he landed the role of one of the pallbearers in the Miramax film, The Pallbearers. He has since gone on to receive critical acclaim in the Off-Broadway production of Making Peter Pope as well as winning both the Manhattan and LA Monologue Slam Competitions.
Besides being an actor, Eric is also a singer. He has performed the role of Chuck
in the doo-wop musical, Avenue X in both Philadelphia at the Wilma Theater and in New York at Playwrights Horizons. In fact, Eric has not only experienced singing on stage for thousands at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, but has also performed for a more intimate crowd at the renowned Metropolitan Room in New York City's Flatiron District. A graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, Eric was lucky early on to have great mentors such as Geoffrey Horne, Hope Arthur and Irma Sandrey. Proudly, he has gone on to work with the likes of Terry Schreiber, Sandra Lee, Sande Shurin, and the great Larry Moss. Amongst many other things, Eric is very thankful and blessed to be currently associated with the Craft Gym; an ongoing study and workshop of acting led by Sean Patrick Folster. Of course, not to be forgotten is that Eric is also one great SALESMAN... but DON'T tell him I told ya! :)
